Hebron

About the Facility

Discovered in 1980, the Hebron Field is located 350 kilometres east-southeast of St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. The Field, located in the Jeanne d’Arc Basin, comprises three principal reservoirs: the Ben Nevis, Hibernia and Jeanne d’Arc Formations. The Hebron Field was originally considered to be three separate fields: Hebron, West Ben Nevis, and Ben Nevis. These were amalgamated into the Hebron Field in 2017. The Field is being produced using a Gravity Based Structure (GBS) and is operated by ExxonMobil Canada Properties.
